Your Holiday Marketing Guide!

The holidays are right around the corner which means it’s time to tighten and strategize your holiday marketing plan! This is the season to really drive sales and revenue for your business as more consumers are in the shopping mindset. But is a holiday strategy really necessary? The answer is YES. Digital ads get pretty competitive during this season which means you’re paying more for your dollar. But don’t worry, we got you. Here’s our holiday marketing guide to help you out!

Tip #1: Set Up Your Ad Strategy

Ads are no joke. They can help you to boost your brand's visibility, increase engagement and expand your reach. There are many popular ad platforms such as Facebook and Instagram. However, during the holiday season these ad prices will be more expensive and overpopulated. Try utilizing platforms like TikTok and Pinterest to create a more unique connection with your audience. While the platform is still new and experimental, brands are seeing sales increase from this new tech platform. Pinterest is a great way to drive traffic to your website or as a source of SEO.

Tip #2: Share Teasers!

Everyone loves to get their hands on a new product or discount. Start by creating a holiday special. These deals will help attract potential new customers and satisfy old ones. New products coming out exclusively for the holidays? Share it on Stories! Make it limited so folks know to purchase early. This is the season where folks are looking for holiday discounts as well. Discounts can be used as a nice thank you to your loyal customers and in turn help you stand out against competitors. Once you’ve created your holiday special, share it on all of your social media platforms. What’s the point of having a deal if no one knows about it? Get the word out there!

Tip #3: Advertise Exclusives

People always want an extra bang for their buck! For example, offer a mystery gift when someone signs up for your email list, or a free bag with their purchase. Exclusives make customers feel special and more sought after, leading to a better relationship with them. Seriously consider adding one to your marketing plan!

Tip #4: Utilize Your Email List

You have one for a reason! Email marketing is a great way to connect with your audience and offer them exclusive deals and specials. Don’t get too carried away with your sending though, make sure you are being strategic. You do not want to annoy or overwhelm your list! Consider sending your emails at 8 am to capture those in the morning or at around 1pm after their lunch breaks! We recommend sending 2x per month. There’s nothing worse than someone unsubscribing from your list. Remember, quality over quantity.

Tip #5: Use Stories and Reels to Gain Exposure and Awareness

It is vital to your business that you are posting stories and reels once a week to gain exposure and awareness. When doing so, you are more likely to reach a much larger audience and grow a bigger community on your socials. Use these tools to promote products, new launches and exclusive deals!

Tip # 6: Make Sure you are Engaging With Your Followers

Many brands' fatal flaw is posting and then forgetting to interact with their followers, fans and customers! Connecting with your followers makes them feel more connected to you and your brand. Engagement helps to put a face on your business and makes it feel like a more authentic experience for them. Keep a 24-hour rule and have a team member respond to DMs and comments within a day. Having a relationship with your customers leads to brand loyalty, trust and expansion!

We hope our holiday marketing guide works many Christmas miracles on your brand!
